The best thing to see in Istanbul is a tree

not just a tree

two trees growing, one inside the other!

It is in the garden of Topkapi Palace,

in the courtyard of the Harem

that's the tower of the Harem on the left.

Tree doesn't look like much, does it? OK, what kind of a tree is it?

Isn't that a fig tree growing out of an evergreen! We'll need some closeups:
