Gazi Molla Ismail

He was a gunnery officer of the Janissary's 64. He went to battle seven times and on the Russian war of 1827 assumed the rank of miralay (colonel). On his return he became sick in Kars and later died. His grave is said to be located next to mosque of sakarsin yaylasi which is located between Bayburt and Of.
