Gilgamesh MDP-FERMIQCD (Lattice QCD) Related Benchmarks

4 Dimensional Pure SU(3) Gauge Theory Average Plaquette

We calculate the average plaquette for a 4 dimensional pure su(3) lattice gauge theory. The sample code is quite simple and can be obtained here. We have used a the heatbath algorithm from fermiqcd package and run the inverse gauge coupling squared from 0 to 10. The result with jackboot errors is presented below. The simulation is performed for a 16x16x16x16 lattice and took 101.2 hours.
